When it comes to Summer there are many things to love about it the long sunny days, the weather, the vacations what’s not to love. So today I thought I would share my favorite things about summer.
Now this will depend on whether or not your asking me this question in 120F (48C). I personally love the heat because I get cold very easily. There’s nothing better than to be cold and then walk outside and warm up in the sun.
2. Summer Rain and Monsoons
When it comes to Arizona weather monsoons in the summer are a must, if you want the temps to cool down. Though sometimes theses monsoons can leave a mess, they are still the best part of the summer. The lightning and thunder during these storms make it super fun and exciting and it’s what makes a monsoon special.
3. Schools Out
At the moment, I don’t have any college classes until the autumn and I pretty much can do whatever I want and enjoy my time off. Time to pull out the sunglasses and try to get that tan that I never seem to get.
I love swimming! It’s one of my most favorite things to do in the summer when it’s not supper hot outside. As long as the suns not high in the sky and its cool outside, then it makes for the best time for relaxing and enjoy the pool.
There’s nothing better than barbecuing in the summer. The smell of grilled food just makes my mouth water. I have the luxury to barbeque all year round living in AZ, but when others around you are cooking in the summer with mesquite wood, the smell of all their food just makes me hungry.
6. Flip Flops
Summer seems to the only time when I can wear flip flops it makes it easy to quickly put on a pair and go. That and most flip flops fit with every outfit in the summer.
Unlike the rest of the year, most of my baking is done during the summer surprisingly. Most of my summer days are filled with baking cakes for birthdays or just for fun.
8. Staying inside basting the A/C
Even though I love summer I can only handle so much of the heat. A majority of the time you'll find me spending most of my day inside playing video games, reading, or writing blog post if the heat hasn’t melted my brain yet.
Thank you everyone for reading, I had a lot of fun coming up with these. Originally there were going to be 10 but I couldn’t come up with the last 2, so 8 it is! So, what’s your favorite thing about summer? I would love to know.
Until next time,
