Black Mirror 1 Review

Today I'm going to review the game Black Mirror.  This game was released October 17, 2003 and was also remastered for newer computers and was uploaded to Steam. This game is not to be confused with the newest released Black Mirror game that was released in 2017.  So in away this is the original Black Mirror story before it was rewritten.  So let's get started!
Black Mirror: Black Mirror House
"Black Mirror is the name of the ancestral manor of the Gordon family located in England. Samuel Gordon is forced to return there after 12 years absence following the death of his grandfather, William Gordon. Despite occurring under mysterious circumstances, William's death is considered a suicide by everyone except for Samuel. Plagued by sudden nightmares and excruciating headaches, Samuel is determined to find the true causes of his grandfather's death."

I will admit, the graphics in the game aren’t the best, but the game was made in 2003.  At this time, these were probably some of the best graphics ever.  The locations were breath taking and beautiful.  The characters though they were blocky I still found then very well made.

Black Mirror: Closed Wing
I loved the storyline.  The whole Gordon family was surrounded in mystery and the supernatural and I loved diving deeper into the mystery.  Nothing was what it seemed and it was as if the Gordon Family curse.  I will admit that the voice acting for Samuel wasn’t the best which hindered the game a little bit when it came to the story.  I will admit the ending wasn’t all that great.  After all the game play we led up to the ending that probably could have gone a bit differently.

Black Mirror: Ruins
The storyline of the game is split into 6 different chapters.  In oder to move on in the game, you must complete every task otherwise you're going to get struck.  When I first played the game, I had the issue of dying and not saving any of my progress before hand.  So when playing this game, you must remember to save your game otherwise you will lose all of your progress and have to start over from either your last save or start from the beginning.

The over all the game fairly enjoyable.  It's a very slow and tricky game to play, it was still so much fun to play.  I also had to cheat playing this game because there were a few things I kept forgetting to complete.  After this, game then leads into the second game Black Mirror II which focus on Samuels son as well as Black Mirror III.

Thanks for reading everyone.  I really enjoyed playing Black Mirror and I can't wait to play the other two games in the series.  If you want to play this game for yourself then you can get your own cop of the game on Steam.  So what do you think of Black Mirror?  I would love to know down in the comments below.

Until next time,
