Nancy Drew Alibi in Ashes Review

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to review Nancy Drew Alibi in Ashes.  This is the 25th installment in the Nancy Drew Series.  This game was one of the last copies I ever bought at the store before buying directly from Her Interactive.  I was so excited to play this game since it was so different from the previous games.  So let’s get started!

Escape the Smoky Intrigue of a Hometown Inferno!

A local contest turns into an arson scene and now deceit smolders among the charred ruins of the River Heights Town Hall. Police have several suspects, but well-placed incriminating evidence and poisonous local gossip compelled authorities to make only one arrest: Nancy Drew. Can you, as the teenage detective and her closest friends, catch the real arsonist and extinguish the accusations among the embers?”

One of the main this that makes this game stand out beyond all the rest is because of how many characters you could choose from to play.  The main character, being Nancy obviously.  However with how this game worked you are able to play as either Ned, Bess, and George!

I had so much fun playing each of these characters and kind of see how they each would and a situation.  There is one character that I really wish you got to physically see in the game and that was Ned.  He's not in any of the locations that you can visit him like you could Bess and George.  Hopefully we will get to see Ned in person in another game.

One of my favorite things do do in this game was order all the ice cream I could and see what my total bill would be in the end.  I always tried to get a bill over $100 dollars.  I think my highest bill was about $350.  Well more or less...

The graphics never are a disappointing.  Everything is bright and colorful, and of course realistic looking.  I think one fo the best locations we got to look at in the game was the inside of Nancy's House.  I honestly wish I could seem more of the house as I would love to build it in The Sims, but I guess I could imagine what the rest of the house looks like.

I would highly recommend playing this game.  This is one of my favorite newer games in the series and I honestly had a ton of fun exploring where Nancy grew up.

Thank you all for reading!  So have you played Alibi in Ashes, and if you have, what was your favorite part about the game.  If you want to get this game for yourself, you can get your own copy over on Her Interactive or on Steam.

Until tomorrow,
